HL Mando, Selected by GM as '2022 Excellent Partner of the Year'
HL Group's EV and autonomous driving solution specialist HL Mando has been selected as General Motors (GM) '2022 Supplier of the Year.' This marks the third consecutive year since winning the 'Launch Excellence Award' in 2020.
On the 23rd (local time), the 31st GM 2022 Supplier of the Year (SOY) awards ceremony was held in San Antonio, Texas, USA, attended by 107 suppliers from 10 countries, including HL Mando America. The SOY award, given to the top 1% of outstanding suppliers, is selected annually from over 20,000 suppliers worldwide.

View original imageThis year's ceremony was attended by HL Mando Senior President (CEO) Seonghyun Cho, Vice President and North America Regional Head Yunhaeng Lee, Executive Director and North America Sales Head Jaehyuk Kim, and Director and North America Brake R&D Head Jeff Pontius.
HL Mando has received the SOY award nine times since 2003. Despite challenging times such as the COVID-19 pandemic and semiconductor issues starting in 2020, HL Mando has maintained the SOY award for three consecutive years. In 2022, HL Mando achieved high scores in business performance evaluations including defect-free launches, product supply, and quality maintenance, as well as qualitative evaluations such as safety and communication & transparency.
