Busan Jungang Library Unveils "The Tumultuous Life and Village Stories of Busan"
Busan Metropolitan Central Library is operating the program "The Tumultuous Life and Village Stories of Busan," which reveals the footsteps of Busan from the Joseon Dynasty to the present.
Busan Central Library announced on the 28th that it will run the Busan understanding program "The Tumultuous Life and Village Stories of Busan" for 20 local residents in the library program room over 8 sessions from April 8 to June 10.
In the program, Kim Han-geun, director of the Pukyung Modern Historical Materials Research Institute and a local historian, will give lectures focusing on the old downtown area, explaining the formation process of Busan's villages and urban development from the Joseon Dynasty to the present.
Those wishing to participate can apply on a first-come, first-served basis from 10 a.m. on the 28th through the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education integrated reservation portal. For other inquiries, contact the Multi-Subject Materials Room.
