Bohae Brewery Captivates MZ Generation with 'Seolbing Heukimja Soonhee' Makgeolli
Bohae Brewery announced on the 28th that it has launched the ‘Heukimja Sunhee (750ml/5%)’ Makgeolli in collaboration with the dessert cafe ‘Sulbing’.
Heukimja Sunhee Makgeolli was developed by blending Heukimja, the key ingredient of Sulbing’s well-being bingsu variety ‘Heukimja Chal-tteok Sulbing,’ with 100% Korean rice Sunhee Makgeolli.
Sunhee is popular among young consumers who prefer a clean taste with less of the typical heaviness of Makgeolli. The addition of savory Heukimja offers a richer flavor and aroma.
Bohae Brewery’s Pasteurization method, which ferments at low temperatures for a long time, allows for long-term storage of up to 12 months.

Heukimja Sunhee is used in various desserts such as cakes and waffles, and by adding ‘Heukimja,’ an ingredient representing the Halmaennial (Halmeoni + Millennial) trend, it is expected to once again capture the taste of the MZ generation who enjoy the sensibilities and preferences of the grandparent generation.
