Choi Byung-han (56) has been appointed as the new president of Busan MBC (Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation).
Busan Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation announced on the 24th that it held a regular shareholders' meeting and appointed Deputy Director Choi Byung-han as the new CEO and president.
President Choi expressed his inauguration remarks, saying, "We will conclude the Minrak-dong era, prepare without any setbacks for the relocation to the Beomil-dong headquarters this year and the opening of the Bukhang era in 2030, and devote all our efforts to enhancing the competitiveness of news and programs to become a beloved broadcasting company."

Choi Byung-han graduated from Yeonje Elementary School, Yeonsan Middle School, Dongin High School, and Daegu University with a degree in Civil Engineering. He joined the company in 1996 as a reporter in the Video Coverage Department of the News Bureau. He has served as the head of the Busan MBC branch of the Korea Journalists Association, head of the Video Coverage Team at the Video Art Center, and director of the Video Art Center.
