Yanolja Joins 'Earth Hour' Light-Off Campaign for 3 Consecutive Years
All Lights Off on All Floors of Seoul Gangnam-gu Headquarters on the 25th
"Strengthening ESG Management"
Leisure platform company Yanolja announced on the 24th that it will participate in the global Earth Hour campaign for the third consecutive year.
Earth Hour is the world's largest climate crisis response campaign hosted by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). Since 2007, every year on the last Saturday of March, major landmarks, companies, and citizens around the world have turned off their lights for one hour to raise awareness of the severity of climate change caused by environmental pollution.
Yanolja has participated in the Earth Hour campaign annually since 2021. This year as well, from 8:30 PM on the 25th, all floors of Yanolja’s headquarters in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, will turn off their lights for one hour. Through this, it is expected to save approximately 250 kW of electricity, reduce about 117 kg of carbon dioxide emissions, and raise awareness among employees about the importance of environmental protection.
