60s Captain Missing Near Geoga Bridge, Eventually Dies in Hospital
The Coast Guard is searching for a person in need of rescue who fell and went missing from a vessel.

At 12:58 PM on the 21st, a captain in his 60s who fell from a vessel during fishing operations went missing and was found at 4:04 PM, but ultimately passed away.
According to the Changwon Maritime Police Station in Gyeongnam, Captain A fell from a 4-ton vessel engaged in diving operations near the Geoga Bridge in Geoje City and went missing.
The Changwon Maritime Police dispatched two patrol boats, two coastal rescue boats, and one rescue team to the scene, and, along with six naval vessels, one aircraft, and personnel and equipment from the Geoje Fire Station, began searching for the missing person.

Captain A was found unconscious and without a pulse approximately 200 meters southeast of the disappearance point at sea, was transported to a hospital, but passed away.
