KOTRA Publishes Guidebook to Assist Foreign Investment
Providing Up-to-Date Information on All Stages of Foreign Investment in the '2023 Foreign Investor Guide'
The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) announced on the 20th that it has published the '2023 Foreign Investment Guide.' This guide aims to provide the latest information covering all stages before foreign investment. It offers information related to business operations such as corporate establishment, site selection guidance, incentives, and personnel and labor systems.
The Foreign Investment Guide is a booklet published annually by the KOTRA Comprehensive Administrative Support Center since 2011. It has established itself as a basic manual for foreign investors seeking to enter Korea. Institutions supporting investment attraction also use it as a fundamental manual to guide foreign-invested companies.
This guide is available in Korean, English, Chinese, and Japanese versions. KOTRA plans to distribute this guide to demand companies through consultations with local governments, free economic zone authorities, and foreign missions in Korea.
Lee Kyung-sik, head of the KOTRA Comprehensive Administrative Support Center, said, “We hope that through this booklet, foreign investors will find it easier to decide on investing in Korea and expand their investment scale.”
