Man in His 50s Arrested for Injuring Someone with Beer Bottle in Dispute at Alumni Reunion
50s Male Charged with Special Injury Offense
[Asia Economy Reporter Gong Byung-sun] A man in his 50s who assaulted a friend he met at an alumni meeting with a beer bottle was arrested by the police.
On the 20th, the Gwangjin Police Station in Seoul announced that they have booked a man in his 50s, Mr. A, on charges of special assault and are investigating him after arresting him at the scene.
It was reported that Mr. A hit his friend Mr. B (52) on the head with a beer bottle during an argument at a pub in the Jayang-dong area of Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, at around 8:43 PM the previous day.
Currently, Mr. B sustained minor injuries and received treatment at a hospital before returning home.
