Painting Nature-Friendly Murals with Themes of Flowers and Trees Suitable for Dongdaemun-gu, the ‘City of Flowers,’ on the School Commute Route in Hoegi-dong
Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) practiced neighborly love on the morning of the 18th by conducting a mural painting volunteer activity to improve the school commute environment together with ‘Clarins,’ Europe’s No.1 skincare brand.
A total of 27 people participated in this volunteer activity, including Lee Pil-hyung, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, Clarins employees, and university students belonging to ‘Clamy,’ Clarins’ social contribution activity supporters.
The volunteers painted murals on the aged walls of the alleys in Hoegi-dong to create a bright and pleasant school commute route. The mural work was carried out with themes of flowers and trees that suit Dongdaemun-gu, the ‘City of Flowers,’ resulting in nature-friendly murals on the old exterior walls that can provide psychological stability to students.
A Clarins Korea official who participated in the volunteer activity said, “Clarins carries out social contribution activities every month, and with spring approaching rapidly, we hope that the beautiful murals, which seem to emit the scent of flowers, will offer students an enjoyable way to and from school.”
