Busan Gijang-gun will implement the ‘2023 Healing Agriculture Program’ at the Agricultural Technology Center starting April 12.
Healing agriculture refers to agricultural activities that utilize agricultural and rural resources to help users recover their mental and physical health, aiming for psychological and emotional stability and stress relief.
A healing agriculture program is being conducted for users of the Dementia Relief Center at the Gijang-gun Agricultural Technology Center.
View original imageThis year’s program will be divided into ‘institutional type’ and ‘distribution type’ to provide benefits to more residents.
The ‘institutional type’ will be conducted 16 times in total from April 12 to June 14 for 30 users of the Dementia Safety Center and the Welfare Center for the Disabled, operating a healing agriculture program utilizing agricultural and rural resources.
The ‘distribution type’ will run 12 sessions from September to October for 340 local residents, offering customized programs tailored to each group, including ▲Silver course ▲Parenting moms course ▲Office workers course ▲Youth (WeClass) course.
Before and after the program operation, the county plans to conduct various tests such as cognitive screening and surveys to objectively verify effectiveness, clearly analyze healing effects, and build and utilize a database.
