Government Seoul Office Building Conducts Integrated Security Training for Government, Police, Military, and Fire Services
Police and Fire Department Participation for the First Time This Year
The Seoul Government Complex Management Office of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's Government Complex Management Headquarters announced on the afternoon of the 16th that it conducted an integrated security drill involving government, police, military, and fire departments at the Seoul Government Complex for about one hour.
In particular, starting this year, police and fire personnel participated in the drill for the first time to make the training more practical and substantial. This drill simulated three scenarios: ▲ Suppression of illegal drones and bomb terrorism, ▲ Response to vehicle-ramming attacks, ▲ Decontamination of suspected toxic gas and suppression of suspicious individuals.
The Seoul Government Complex Management Office expects that through this ‘Integrated Security Drill of Government, Police, Military, and Fire Departments,’ the integrated security response capability of the Seoul Government Complex, a ‘Grade A’ national critical facility housing 14 agencies, will be elevated to a higher level.
