Jeonnam City and County Council Chairpersons Association Holds the 279th Monthly Meeting in Muan
Exchange of Various Opinions on Current Issues Through Monthly Meeting
Muan County Council held the 279th Jeonnam City and County Council Chairpersons' Association Monthly Meeting on the 15th at Seungdal Arts and Culture Center.
The "Jeonnam City and County Council Chairpersons' Association Monthly Meeting" is a regular meeting held every month to seek ways for regional mutual development and to strengthen the cooperation system regarding current issues and common interests among councils.

This monthly meeting was hosted by the Jeonnam City and County Council Chairpersons' Association and organized by Muan County Council, with about 50 attendees including chairpersons from 14 city and county councils in Jeonnam and Kim San, the mayor of Muan County.
The meeting proceeded in the order of a welcome speech by Kim Kyung-hyun, chairperson of Muan County Council, an opening address by Kang Pil-gu, chairperson of the association, a congratulatory speech by Kim San, mayor of Muan County, followed by agenda deliberation and discussion.
In his congratulatory speech, Mayor Kim San said, "We are very pleased to host the Chairpersons' Association Monthly Meeting here in Muan County," and added, "I wish for the infinite development and success of the Jeonnam City and County Council Chairpersons' Association, which has greatly contributed to the mutual development of Jeonnam."
Following the opening ceremony, at the awards ceremony, Kim San, mayor of Muan County, and Kim Sun-nam, CEO of Jeonnam Maeil, received plaques of appreciation for their contributions to the development of local governance.
Additionally, Kim Young-gyu, chairperson of Yeosu City Council, and Yoo Si-moon, chairperson of Gurye County Council, received the Korea Local Assembly Service Award, and Kim Won-jung, member of Muan County Council, received the Local Assembly Service Award.
In the subsequent meeting, participants shared the operation and achievements of the Jeonnam City and County Councils, discussed local issues affecting residents, and had time to discuss ways to contribute to the development of Jeonnam and local governance by exchanging diverse opinions.

Kim Kyung-hyun, chairperson of Muan County Council, who organized the monthly meeting, said, "I express my gratitude to the chairpersons of city and county councils who are carrying out legislative activities for regional development and the welfare of residents," and added, "I hope that through today’s monthly meeting, we can exchange various opinions on Jeonnam regional issues and legislative activities and cooperate mutually to contribute to the development of cities and counties."
