Ulju-gun, Happy Sharing Urban Garden Distribution ... Ungchon and Cheongnyang Locations
Application for 100 Garden Plots Open from 16th to 31st
Ulsan's Ulju-gun will accept applications for the 'Ulju-gun Happiness Sharing Urban Garden' from the 16th to the 31st of this month.
The Ulju-gun Happiness Sharing Urban Garden was established to create a happy and warm community culture through the process of growing safe food directly.
The garden plots available for lease are located in two places: Daebok-ri in Ungchon-myeon and Yul-ri in Cheongnyang-eup, totaling 100 plots. A 3,881㎡ garden farm will be created and managed at Ariso Ecological Garden, which was selected through an Ulju-gun public project.
Eligibility to apply is open to any resident living in Ulju-gun, and the leased area is 20㎡ per plot, with only one plot allowed per household. The lease fee is 40,000 KRW per plot.
The leased garden plots can be freely cultivated from next month until November, with support provided including farming education for beginner farmers, personal garden signboards, farming supplies (compost), rest areas, restrooms, and water supply facilities.
Residents wishing to lease a garden plot can apply via the internet site or by phone at Ariso Ecological Garden.
For more details, contact the Eco-friendly Agriculture Team of the Ulju-gun Agricultural Policy Division or Ariso Ecological Garden.
