Enjoying Humanities Knowledge and Travel through a Virtual European Tour
Busan Metropolitan Central Library (Director Cha Jong-ho) will operate the educational humanities academy program "European Humanities Travel" online every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. from April 1 to 22 to learn about Europe.
This program is designed to cultivate humanities knowledge and share the joy of travel through a virtual journey with Park Sun-jung, director of the humanities study group "Dalli," to help with future travel plans.
▲ On the 1st, participants will travel to Budapest and Vienna, comparing the two cities that embrace history and move toward the future.
On the 8th, the journey continues to Berlin and Prague, exploring the past and present of the two cities representing strength and weakness.
On the 15th, participants will visit Milan and Florence, touring art museums to review art history and appreciate representative works.
On the 22nd, the trip goes to Rome and Naples. Participants will explore Rome, a city that is an entire historic site, and Vatican City, the smallest country in the world, then travel to Naples, the city that is the least Italian of all.
