Gyeonggi-do Expands Carbon Neutrality Citizen Promotion Team... Recruiting 69 Members
Gyeonggi Province is recruiting an additional 69 residents to participate in the 'Gyeonggi Province Carbon Neutrality Citizen Promotion Group' until the 24th of this month.
In September last year, Gyeonggi Province launched the 'Gyeonggi Province Carbon Neutrality Citizen Promotion Group,' a public-private governance body that allows residents to participate in the public discussion process of carbon neutrality policies.
The Citizen Promotion Group participates in the deliberation process for carbon neutrality policy decisions made by the province and city/county governments, and is responsible for discovering carbon neutrality policies and monitoring their implementation.
The province plans to increase the promotion group to a total of 320 members by selecting 69 additional members to join the current 251 active members.
Eligibility to apply requires residency in Gyeonggi Province and an interest in the carbon neutrality policies of the province and city/county governments.
Applications can only be submitted online by sending the application form via email to the Gyeonggi Environment and Energy Agency at djlee@ggeea.or.kr within the deadline.
The selection results will be individually notified to applicants via their contact information by the end of March. More detailed information can be found on the Gyeonggi Province website under the 'Gyeonggi Province Carbon Neutrality Citizen Promotion Group Recruitment Announcement.'
Since its launch in September last year, the Citizen Promotion Group has held workshops in four regions to share Gyeonggi Province's carbon neutrality policies and discuss future development directions.
