Guryongpo Youth Training Center Selected for Ministry of Gender Equality and Family Project, 'Guryongpo Haenyeo Table'
The Guryongpo Youth Training Center of the Pohang City Youth Foundation announced that it has been selected for the youth program contest project hosted by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family with the program "Guryongpo Haenyeo's Table (Gu·Hae·Bap)".
This contest project was planned to have youth learn about the local haenyeo (female divers), directly learn to make various and healthy dishes using seafood from the haenyeo, and promote the haenyeo's table by creating YouTube videos of this process.
The project will be conducted in sessions with youth participation, including ▲understanding the occupation of haenyeo ▲learning about seafood ▲making YouTube videos ▲experiencing wearing haenyeo diving suits ▲observing and interviewing haenyeo diving ▲making seaweed soup from the haenyeo's table ▲making abalone porridge ▲editing YouTube videos.
