The main fire of the wildfire in Hwagae-myeon, Hadong-gun, Gyeongnam, which has continued for two days, was brought under control around noon on the 12th.
According to the Changwon Meteorological Station, rain has been pouring at the site since around 11:30 a.m. that day.
The rain is expected to stop between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m., with an anticipated precipitation amount of 5 to 20 mm.
