The Gyeongnam Office of Education has produced the 'School Meal Environment Improvement Guidelines' and the 'School Meal Hygiene and Safety Inspection Guidebook' to strengthen the safety of school meals, and distributed them to schools and education support offices.
According to the provincial Office of Education on the 10th, the guidelines include specific standards and procedures for school meal hygiene inspections and meal facilities, as well as related legal matters.

View original imageIn April of last year, the provincial Office of Education formed a dedicated team for producing the guidelines by gathering nutrition teachers, administrative directors, and meal service officers from the provincial Office of Education and education support offices.
They included in the guidelines ▲standard plans for meal facilities ▲procedures for improving meal facility environments ▲practical materials to help meal service staff understand and efficiently implement projects at schools.
The hygiene and safety inspection guidebook contains ▲inspection tips ▲inspection items ▲field cases reviewed by the School Meal Hygiene and Safety Council.
