BGF Retail Provides Emergency Relief Supplies to Hapcheon Wildfire Damage Site
Providing Over 6,000 Food and Beverage Items

BGF Retail announced on the 9th that it has provided emergency relief supplies for disaster victims in Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam, where a large wildfire occurred.
BGF Retail activated the national disaster emergency relief operation, BGF Bridge, and delivered relief supplies to evacuation shelters for disaster victims through the BGF Logis Chilgok Center directly to the affected site. The relief supplies provided this time include about 6,000 items of 14 types of food and beverages such as bottled water, ramen, and chocolate bars.
BGF Retail signed a business agreement with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and others in 2015, the first in the industry, to support national disaster prevention and emergency relief activities based on more than 30 logistics centers nationwide and the nationwide CU network.

A BGF Retail official said, “Fortunately, the main fire was contained in the morning, so no additional damage is expected, but we decided to provide emergency support to help the disaster victims,” adding, “We will continue to strengthen the social function of convenience store infrastructure to monitor the well-being of local communities and provide essential assistance.”
