Former Vice Chairman Cha Seok-yong, who led LG Household & Health Care for 18 years, is expected to join the board of directors of Hugel.
Hugel announced on the 9th that it held a board meeting and resolved to nominate former LG Household & Health Care CEO Cha Seok-yong as a non-executive director. Hugel will submit the agenda for appointing Cha as a non-executive director at the 22nd regular shareholders' meeting on the 30th.
Cha is recognized as a figure who led 17 consecutive years of growth as CEO of LG Household & Health Care from 2005 until last year.
