Mo Farah and his wife Tania appeared on a podcast hosted by former British yacht racer Ben Ainslie and George Thompson, a presenter on the British Sky Sports channel, where they discussed the topic of their child's elementary school enrollment.
Tania advised on the competitive atmosphere among students at the school and mentioned that there is a sports day where parents compete against each other, with the competition among parents being very intense.
She explained, "Mo Farah came in second in the 100m sprint for dads." To this, Mo Farah confessed, "Not second, there were two people ahead of me," revealing that he actually finished third.

Tania added, "The dad who came in first was wearing jeans," and continued, "Mo Farah ran wearing spiked running shoes but lost to the other dads."
She went on to say, "The dad who came in first spent the whole year telling everyone how he beat Mo Farah." She emphasized, "Mo Farah is not a sprinter."
She also said, "People think Mo Farah can run fast, but his speed is sustained over long distances," adding, "Mo Farah doesn't know what an all-out sprint is. I can beat him in the first 50 to 60 meters. After that, Mo Farah will overtake me."
Mo Farah is a living legend in British athletics, having won both the 5000m and 10,000m at the 2012 London Olympics and the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics. He was knighted in 2017.
Meanwhile, Mo Farah made headlines last year when he appeared on the BBC and revealed that he was trafficked to the UK as a child and forced into labor.
