BNK Gyeongnam Bank Gallery Hosts 'Hong Seongju Solo Exhibition'
Beautiful Handwriting and Calligraphy Poetry Artwork with Poems
BNK Gyeongnam Bank is holding the first rental exhibition of the 2023 BNK Gyeongnam Bank Gallery, "Hong Seongju Solo Exhibition," until the 17th.
The Hong Seongju Solo Exhibition is themed "Reset" and features 30 calligraphy poetry artworks with beautiful handwritten letters and poems.
Works such as Reset (50×70 cm), The Bent Back Rolls Away (70×50 cm), Mountain to Mountain (70×50 cm), and Market Day (70×50 cm) can be seen all in one place.

View original imageMost of the works contain the hope that they will provide a time to reflect on life and reorganize oneself despite going through difficult times and various challenging situations.
Artist Hong said, "I expressed poems containing life experiences that anyone can relate to in calligraphy artworks. Avoiding the patterns of modern poetry, I created short and concise original poems and sijo that are easily accessible to readers."
Kim Jonghak, team leader of the Social Contribution and Public Relations Department, said, "We are promoting a free rental project for the BNK Gyeongnam Bank Gallery to support the creative activities of local artists and expand cultural opportunities for local residents. Through the first rental exhibition of the year, the Hong Seongju Solo Exhibition, we are opening the doors of the BNK Gyeongnam Bank Gallery wide. We hope many customers and local residents will show interest and love for the BNK Gyeongnam Bank Gallery."
Starting with the Hong Seongju Solo Exhibition, BNK Gyeongnam Bank plans to hold a total of six rental exhibitions at the BNK Gyeongnam Bank Gallery in the first half of 2023.
The next exhibitions will be the solo exhibitions of No Cheonwoong and Yoon Hojung, a group exhibition by the Jinhae Disabled Welfare Center, a group exhibition of three artists including Park Misook, and the solo exhibition of Heo Eunju, in that order.

BNK Gyeongnam Bank also plans to hold rental exhibitions at the BNK Gyeongnam Bank Gallery in the second half of 2023 after receiving applications.
