Mokwon University College of Education Produces 29 Successful Candidates in Secondary Teacher Certification Exam
Mokwon University College of Education produced 29 successful candidates in this year's public middle school teacher appointment selection competitive exam.
According to the university on the 6th, the number of successful candidates by major were 11 in Art Education, 9 in Music Education, and 5 in Korean Language Education.
Notably, in the Music Education department, the top scorers of the middle school teacher appointment exams for Jeju Province and Gangwon Province emerged. Among them, the top scorer for Jeju Province attracted attention by making the top scorer list on their first attempt while still enrolled.
Since the number of appointments in the middle school teacher appointment exam is small, the competition rate has been increasing every year, making retaking the exam once or twice a common situation recently.
Mokwon University College of Education has been dedicated to training prospective teachers by sequentially establishing six departments starting with Music Education in 1969, followed by Art Education, English Education, Korean Language Education, Mathematics Education, and Early Childhood Education.
