Korea Cable TV Broadcasting Association, Fostering Specialized Talent in Broadcast Data
Cable TV announced on the 6th that it will start nurturing talent capable of professionally utilizing broadcasting data. Broadcasting data is one of the fields with a wide range of industrial applications, attracting many applicants in vocational training.
The Korea Cable TV Broadcasting Association was selected as a digital leading company academy operator as a result of jointly participating with LG HelloVision and the Korea Radio Promotion Association in the first phase of the K-Digital Training project promoted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor on the 28th of last month.
LG HelloVision, a cable TV operator and media platform operator, is a specialized company in this field that has managed, preserved, and processed broadcasting data accumulated over decades. By passing on its know-how through this academy operation, it will also be able to participate in the current government's plan to nurture one million core digital talents.
Additionally, the Korea Radio Promotion Association, participating as an operating institution, is an innovative talent development institution in the software field and has been designated by the Ministry of Science and ICT as a specialized institution for cloud and software talent development. The Korea Cable TV Broadcasting Association also has the capability to nurture talent through education in various fields such as programming, production, technology, and data for broadcasting media workers.
These institutions plan to design the 'DX Data School (DATA SCHOOL)' and organize the academy to nurture talent that responds to the changing media environment.
Meanwhile, in addition to the joint participation of cable TV, Intel, Amazon, NHN, and Hana Bank were also selected as new operators in the Ministry of Employment and Labor's digital leading company academy selection.
