In addition to voluntary blood donation participation by its members, SKT is actively utilizing its information and communication technology (ICT) to continuously contribute to solving the social blood shortage problem and spreading the culture of sharing life.
SK Telecom introduced the ‘Mobile Blood Donation’ service for emergency transfusion patients in 2007, and in 2011 launched the ‘Smart Blood Donation’ service that allows blood donation reservations via an app.
In 2019, SKT launched ‘Red Connect,’ the world’s first service supporting blood donors’ health management, and over the past 20 years, it has created various ICT-based blood donation services and continuously participated in blood donation.
