Choi Ho-kwon, Yeongdeungpo District Mayor, Participates in 'Tree Planting Volunteer' Event
On the morning of the 4th, Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District Office, participated in creating the "Our Neighborhood Admiration Forest" at Yeongdeungpo History Park, 205-1 Yeongdeungpo-dong 7-ga, together with volunteers on the second 'Volunteer DAY.'
'Volunteer DAY' is a day when volunteers and Yeongdeungpo District Office executives carry out volunteer activities on the first Saturday of every month to revitalize volunteer work that has been subdued due to COVID-19.
Mayor Choi, district office executives, foreign residents, and about 50 volunteers including staff from the Volunteer Center contributed to cultivating the urban forest by planting 50 Hongmaehwa (red plum) trees and 200 Yeonsanhong (azalea) bushes.
