Changwon Special City Mayor's Cup Workplace and Club Tennis Tournament Held
Contributing to Tennis Enthusiast Unity and Promotion of Community Sports
Changwon City, Gyeongnam Special City, held the "10th Changwon Special City Mayor's Office and Club Tennis Tournament" over two days from the 4th to the 5th at 10 locations including Changwon City Tennis Courts and auxiliary courts.
This tournament was hosted by the Changwon City Sports Council and organized by the Changwon City Tennis Association to promote tennis, foster unity among clubs, and improve the health of tennis enthusiasts.
The 10th Changwon Special Mayor's Cup Workplace and Club Tennis Tournament was held at 10 locations, including the Changwon City Tennis Court and auxiliary courts.
View original imageThe tournament was held with three teams per group in a preliminary league followed by a main knockout tournament, with a total of about 700 tennis enthusiasts participating across two workplace divisions and three club divisions.
At the opening ceremony, Jo Myung-rae, the 2nd Deputy Mayor of Changwon Special City, said, "I hope this tournament becomes a festival that not only expands the base of recreational tennis players but also strengthens friendship and camaraderie among enthusiasts."
He added, "Our city will build infrastructure so that sports enthusiasts can enjoy recreational sports in a more comfortable environment, and we will do our best to host various sports tournaments and promote programs."
