As a player, Coach Klinsmann was a star striker for the German national team, and after transitioning to coaching, he led the national teams of Germany and the United States, as well as Bayern Munich and Hertha Berlin (both in Germany). The news of his appointment as the new head coach of the Korean national team was announced on the 27th of last month. Coach Klinsmann plans to share his thoughts in a brief standing interview at the airport arrival hall and will hold an inauguration press conference at a hotel in downtown Seoul on the 9th, the day after his arrival.
