'KLPGA Legend' Hong Ran is becoming a 'taken woman.'
Hong Ran will marry a representative of a certain venture investment industry on April 1.

Hong Ran recently sent out mobile wedding invitations to acquaintances to announce the wedding news. She said, "We have gathered our precious people to take the first step together," and added, "Please bless our future so that we can always live happily like a spring day."
Hong Ran is tying the knot after nurturing love for about a year and a half. The groom-to-be is known to have attended the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour Hana Financial Group Championship last September, where Hong Ran's official retirement ceremony was held.
The groom-to-be is an expert in the venture investment industry, having worked in U.S. venture capital and as the head of the in-house venture capital team at GS Retail. Since the end of 2021, he has been supporting early-stage startups in Korea.

Hong Ran debuted on the KLPGA Tour in 2005 and maintained her tour card for 17 years, accumulating four career wins before retiring last year. She holds remarkable records such as being the first to surpass 1,000 rounds played, most appearances (356), and most final round qualifications (287). Since leaving the field, she has been serving as a mentor at the 'Samchully Golf Academy,' operated by Samchully, a comprehensive energy group she has been with since 2013, to nurture young female golf talents.
