Ulsan Office of Education Promotes Superintendent By-election Using School Buses
The Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education and the Ulsan City Election Commission have joined forces to promote the upcoming superintendent by-election scheduled for April 5.
On the 2nd, the Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education held a launch ceremony for the "Bus Promotion Team Running Together" at the parking lot of the school bus at Ulsan Hyein School.
The bus promotion team attached promotional slogans encouraging voter participation to 28 school buses under the jurisdiction of the Office of Education and will travel throughout Ulsan until April 5 to promote the by-election.
This event was initiated when the Ulsan City Election Commission proposed collaborating on promoting the superintendent by-election by benchmarking the Office of Education’s usual practice of promoting educational policies using school transportation vehicles.
About 20 people attended the launch ceremony, including Acting Superintendent Choi Seong-bu, Kim Jeong-gon, Secretary General of the Ulsan City Election Commission, Office of Education staff, and the voter participation promotion team.
The participants held promotional placards and banners with the phrase "Let's create the future of Ulsan education with everyone's vote," encouraging voter participation.
The Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education also plans to promote the by-election through the Office of Education’s YouTube channel and other platforms.
