Training for Employees of Export Support Agencies Conducted
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Ye-ju] KOTRA announced on the 27th that it will begin recruiting students for the export support agency training course (GBC-P course) to be launched next month.
Launched as a follow-up measure to the pan-government export strategy meeting, this training aims to help export support agency personnel understand the difficulties faced by our small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized companies in the field and to support companies effectively.
Since the establishment of the academy, KOTRA has been in charge of overseas marketing education, and since 2018, it has jointly operated the Global Business Consultant (GBC) qualification course with the Korea Management Association, producing a total of 291 private export consultants.
This training consists of a basic (P1) course covering export processes and government support policies, a growth (P2) course containing essential export competencies such as regional entry strategies, and an advanced (P3) course where participants can learn about the latest global trends such as supply chains. Lectures will be conducted by professional instructors from export support agencies including KOTRA, Korea Trade Insurance Corporation, and Korea Testing & Research Institute, focusing on practical education.
