Ministry of Education to Hold Expert Forum on 2028 College Admission Reform on the 27th
The Ministry of Education and the Korea Council for University Education will hold the '4th Expert Forum on the 2028 College Admission Reform.'
This forum will be held on the 27th at the 600th Anniversary Hall of Sungkyunkwan University, with the theme of 'Future-Oriented College Admission System and the Direction of CSAT Reform.'
Experts including university admissions officers, admissions evaluators, high school teachers, and university professors will participate to share opinions on the direction of the new college admission system to be applied from the 2028 academic year, measures to supplement admission evaluation materials following the introduction of the high school credit system, and the possibility of introducing written and essay-type college entrance exams.
The forum will be broadcast live on the Korea Council for University Education's YouTube channel (Daehak Eodiga TV).
The Ministry of Education plans to conclude the four expert forums with this event and release a draft plan for the 2028 college admission reform within the first half of the year.

Choi Eun-hee, Director of the Talent Policy Office at the Ministry of Education, stated, "The 2028 college admission reform will maintain consistency within a range that students and parents can predict," adding, "We plan to prepare a draft reform plan reflecting voices from the field by the first half of this year."
