On the 24th, President Yoon Suk-yeol met with small and venture businesses participating in the economic delegation to the UAE to share achievements and explore ways to enter the Middle Eastern market.
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced that on the same day, President Yoon held a luncheon meeting at the Yongsan Presidential Office with about 30 small and venture business representatives who achieved results such as export and investment commitments in the UAE.
President Yoon urged efforts to expand the 'new Middle East boom,' where small and venture businesses create achievements, based on the 'Special Strategic Partnership' established with the UAE in January. To follow up, the Ministry plans to promote one-on-one close support for companies participating in the UAE economic delegation, expand export bases in the Middle East, and increase Middle East export exhibitions.
The event included small and venture businesses that participated in the economic delegation to the UAE in January and companies that subsequently achieved results such as export contracts in the UAE and other Middle Eastern markets. It was held to share and encourage the achievements of businesspeople and to listen to various voices from the field.
President Yoon and Minister Lee Young of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups listened to the achievements, experiences, and aspirations of businesspeople entering the UAE and other Middle Eastern markets. They also exchanged opinions on various ways to expand into the Middle Eastern and global markets.
