Namhae-gun Women's Association Council Holds 2023 Regular General Meeting
Awarding Certificate of Commendation to Outgoing Organization Head and Discussion on 2023 Project Implementation
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Song Jong-gu] The Namhae-gun Women's Association Council in Gyeongnam held the 2023 Women's Association Council General Meeting on the 23rd at the multipurpose hall of the Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, attended by 27 executives of the Women's Association Council.
At the meeting, certificates of commendation were awarded to Moon Young-a, president of the Namhae District Council of the Korean Red Cross Volunteer Society; Yeo Ok-i, president of the Women's Volunteer Fire Brigade; Kim Ok-ja, president of the Korea Life Improvement Association Namhae-gun Federation; and Han Gye-seon, president of the Korea Women Farmers Namhae-gun Federation, who stepped down due to the expiration of their terms.

Kim Bong-hee, president of the Namhae-gun Women's Association Council, said, “Thanks to the active participation and cooperation of our members, the Women's Association Council was able to carry out vigorous activities. We will continue to strive to become a council that lays the foundation for a gender-equal society through solidarity and cooperation, protects women's rights in the local community, and contributes to development.”
Jang Chung-nam, the county governor, said, “I thank the executives and members who have always actively participated. I ask you to continue to play a pivotal role in the development of our county.”
