Gurye County Council Signs Friendship and Exchange Agreement with Yeongdeungpo District Council

[Asia Economy] The Jeonnam Gurye-gun Council (Chairman Yu Si-mun) announced on the 21st that it signed a friendship and exchange business agreement with the Yeongdeungpo-gu Council of Seoul Metropolitan City (Chairman Jeong Seon-hee).

The agreement aims to strengthen legislative capabilities and promote the development of local and regional councils through mutual exchange and cooperation based on friendship enhancement between the two councils.

Specifically, they agreed to continuously engage in various mutual exchanges and cooperation, institution visits, joint legislative meetings, training, and other mutual interests, and to develop a partnership of cooperative relations.

Yeongdeungpo-gu Council Chairman Jeong Seon-hee said in her welcoming speech, “Through the business agreement with Gurye-gun Council, we hope to further solidify the bonds between our regions and actively exchange for common goals, creating a close relationship of trust.”

Gurye-gun Council Chairman Yu Si-mun stated, “Co-prosperity is an essential strategy in an era of infinite competition,” and added, “If rural and urban areas walk separate paths due to differences in living environments and socio-economic conditions, growth will stop and regression is inevitable. If Gurye-gun Council and Yeongdeungpo Council fill each other’s shortcomings and join hands to seek a path of co-prosperity, it will become a successful model where rural and urban areas coexist.”

Meanwhile, on the 22nd, they visited Gurye Haksa located in Daerim-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu to encourage dormitory students and inspected the site designated for the Gurye Promotion Center installation.
