The application period for the project is from the 28th to March 10th. Farmers who wish to install damage prevention facilities can apply at the administrative welfare centers of the towns and townships where their farmland is located.
The total project cost is 75 million won, of which 60% (up to a maximum of 3 million won) of the total installation cost will be supported by the county, and 40% must be borne by the applying farmers. Supported facilities include electric fences, V-shaped nets, and mesh fences.
A county official said, “Through this project, we expect to reduce crop damage caused by wild animals, ensure stable agricultural management, and contribute to increasing farmers' income.”
