LH Donates 100 Million KRW from Employees to Support Earthquake Recovery in Turkiye
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Wanyong] Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 23rd that it will donate 100 million KRW from the LH Nanum Fund to support the rapid recovery of the earthquake-affected T?rkiye and Syria regions.
The LH Nanum Fund is a social contribution resource voluntarily deducted from employees' monthly salaries.
The donation will be delivered through the Korean Red Cross and will be used to assist disaster victims by purchasing emergency relief supplies and food, setting up temporary shelters, and restoring damages.
Additionally, LH is reviewing housing support plans for disaster victims in severely earthquake-affected areas in cooperation with the international organization UN-Habitat.
An LH official stated, “We sincerely offer our condolences to those who have lost their homes and loved ones due to the earthquake, and we hope that the heartfelt wishes of LH employees for the victims to recover their daily lives as soon as possible will be conveyed.”

Meanwhile, LH has continued donations for neighbors at home and abroad, including supporting Afghan special contributors in 2021 and donating 21,000 USD in 2022 to Pakistani disaster victims affected by floods.
