GH Breaks Ground on Earthwork for Eunnam General Industrial Complex in Yangju
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) began site development work for the 'Yangju Eunnam General Industrial Complex' on the 22nd.
The Yangju Eunnam General Industrial Complex is a project to create industrial facility land on a scale of 992,000㎡ in the Eunhyeon-myeon area of Yangju City. GH and Yangju City aim to prevent indiscriminate development and resolve environmental pollution issues through the clustering of individual factories, while enhancing industrial ripple effects to promote balanced development in northern Gyeonggi Province.
Currently, negotiations and compensations are underway, and based on the cultural heritage trial excavation survey, construction will be actively promoted in the second half of this year. The target completion year is 2027.
The Eunnam General Industrial Complex has excellent transportation infrastructure due to its proximity to the Gwangjeok IC of the Metropolitan Area 2nd Ring Expressway, which will open in 2024. Road construction for access to improve traffic conditions in the surrounding area is also in progress.
