Ottogi Launches HelloVeggie Vegan Cup Rice 'OmniInside Curry & Jjajang Rice Bowl'
Ottogi announced on the 22nd that its vegan specialty brand Hello Veggie has launched vegan cup rice meals, 'Omni Inside Curry and Jjajang Rice Bowls,' made with plant-based meat alternatives.
Omni Inside is a processed food brand that uses Omni Meat, a plant-based meat product created by Green Monday, an alternative meat company based in Hong Kong. Ottogi utilized this to develop the 'Omni Inside Rice Bowls.' The curry rice bowl is rich in vegetables such as alternative meat, chickpeas, king oyster mushrooms, and carrots, allowing consumers to enjoy the fresh taste of vegetables combined with the rich spices of curry. The jjajang rice bowl features a delightful blend of the sharp taste of garlic, mushrooms, lotus root, and water chestnuts, complemented by the sweet and savory flavor of jjajang sauce. Both products have received vegan certification from the UK’s Vegan Society.
