Ministry of the Interior and Safety Provides Customized Safety Education Information
National Safety Education Portal 'Gukmin Anjeon Gyoyuk Platform' Revamp
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] The Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced on the 22nd that it has newly revamped the National Safety Education Portal, which provided safety education materials by ministry, into the National Safety Education Platform and will operate it in full scale to enhance disaster and safety accident response capabilities.
By systematically providing various safety education materials that were previously scattered across different institutions through a single platform, citizens can easily find and utilize the materials they want.
The platform is designed to be easy to navigate with four categories: ▲Integrated Safety Education Materials ▲Safety Experience Centers ▲Safety Culture Activities ▲Safety Education Professionals.
The Integrated Safety Education Materials section has been improved to allow customized searches for various safety education materials according to safety education needs at each life cycle stage: infancy, childhood, adolescence, youth, adulthood, and old age.
The Safety Experience Centers section has enhanced search functions by adding detailed information filters such as experience type, usage fee, and target audience, and improved accessibility to nationwide safety experience center locations and detailed program information to facilitate experience applications.
The Safety Culture Activities section provides information on safety culture activities of local governments and private organizations nationwide, as well as posts excellent case collections of safety culture awards and outstanding works from the children's safety diary writing contest in one place to encourage citizens' safety practice habits.
The Safety Education Professionals section has been supplemented to reduce the inconvenience where safety education demand institutions such as kindergartens, schools, companies, and organizations had to individually contact and arrange lectures with professional safety education instructors.
