Seoul Institute of Health and Environment Research, Publishes Research Results Tailored to Citizens' Lives
Sharing Research Achievements with Experts from National Institutes of Health and Environment
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] The Seoul Institute of Health and Environment announced on the 22nd that starting tomorrow, it will hold the "Research Achievement Sharing Forum," where outstanding policy projects conducted in 2022 will be presented, at the main building's 2nd-floor auditorium.
Due to COVID-19, this research presentation event will be held face-to-face for the first time in four years, with experts from related fields of health and environment research institutes nationwide attending to share the latest research achievements and information with citizens.
At this "Research Achievement Sharing Forum," nine outstanding papers selected through departmental review from 32 policy projects promoted by the Institute of Health and Environment in 2022 will be presented.
The presentation will be divided into three parts covering health and environment-related topics, and three award-winning projects from the 2022 "Health and Environment Research Institute Public Official Award in the Paper Category" will also be presented.
The projects will be awarded after collecting opinions from experts such as professors in the relevant fields, and will be included and published in the Seoul Institute of Health and Environment Bulletin and the Health and Environment White Paper to enable active utilization by citizens and experts.

Shin Yongseung, Director of the Seoul Institute of Health and Environment, emphasized the significance of holding the Research Achievement Sharing Forum, stating, "Last year alone, the institute published 13 papers in SCIE-level journals, and over the past five years, the number of world-class research publications has been increasing." He added, "We will do our best to ensure that high-level research achievements are shared as information that can be utilized in citizens' daily lives."
