Korea Transportation Safety Authority Donates Earthquake Relief Funds to Turkiye
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Wanyong] The Korea Transportation Safety Authority announced on the 21st that it has donated 6 million won in emergency relief funds to T?rkiye, which suffered damage from a strong earthquake.
This donation was raised through the 'salary rounding' voluntarily contributed by the Authority's executives and employees. The funds will be delivered through the Korean Red Cross and will be used for earthquake victims' emergency relief supplies, food, and housing.
Meanwhile, in 2004, the Authority established a non-profit organization called 'Sharing Love Together' to promote sustainable public interest projects. Using funds raised through employee donations, it has continuously carried out social responsibility activities such as supporting vulnerable groups and sharing kimchi. In 2020, all employees voluntarily raised and donated funds to overcome COVID-19.
