Recruiting 1,700 Online Lottery Sellers for Vulnerable Groups
[Asia Economy Sejong=Reporter Dongwoo Lee] The Ministry of Economy and Finance's Lottery Commission announced on the 20th that it will recruit new online lottery (Lotto 6/45) sellers through Donghaeng Lottery, the lottery consignment operator.
The recruitment targets are priority contract candidates such as persons with disabilities and national merit recipients, with a total of 1,715 people across 178 cities, counties, and districts nationwide. An additional 591 candidates will be selected as reserves.
This announcement is a follow-up measure in accordance with the Lottery Commission's resolution to gradually expand lottery sales outlets to alleviate public inconvenience caused by the shortage of online lottery sales points and to support the economic independence of vulnerable groups.

The application period is from 10 a.m. on March 6 to 6 p.m. on April 18. The selection method will be a random draw by city, county, and district using a computerized recommendation program.
