Busan Office of Education and Busan City Join Hands to Support Out-of-School and Middle-Entry Youth

On the 16th at 11 a.m., the Office of Education and the city signed a "Business Agreement to Support Out-of-School Youth and Children and Adolescents Who Immigrated Mid-Way" in the first conference room of the city education office.
At the signing ceremony, Superintendent Ha Yun-su and Busan Mayor Park Hyung-jun, along with officials from both institutions, attended.

View original imageThis agreement aims to strengthen the organic cooperation system between the city education office and Busan City to support out-of-school youth and children and adolescents who immigrated mid-way. By strengthening the system, an active support system will be established so that youth can grow into healthy members of society.
According to the agreement, the two institutions will mutually cooperate on ▲providing information for educational support for out-of-school youth and children and adolescents who immigrated mid-way ▲supporting their return to school and academic achievement ▲educational welfare projects.
In particular, support for out-of-school youth will be actively expanded through the Out-of-School Youth Support Center by providing education participation fees, qualification exam textbook fees, snack fees, field experience learning fees, professional counseling fees, and pilot operation of a night center.
To support the entry and adaptation of children and adolescents who immigrated mid-way into public education, cooperation will be strengthened for Korean language education and mentoring linked with the Office of Education and Multicultural Family Support Center, as well as emotional and psychological counseling support.
