Jangseong-gun Launches 'Hometown Love Fund Management Deliberation Committee'
[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do held the launch ceremony of the Hometown Love Fund Management Deliberation Committee and conducted its first deliberation meeting.
According to the county on the 16th, the Hometown Love Fund Management Deliberation Committee deliberates and resolves all aspects of the operation of the Hometown Love Fund.
It also performs roles such as transparent and efficient donation management, as well as selecting and evaluating fund utilization projects.
Jangseong County held the inaugural ceremony of the Hometown Love Fund Management Deliberation Committee and conducted its first deliberation meeting.

The committee was composed of three ex officio members including Chairman Kim Myungshin, Deputy Governor of Jangseong, and four appointed members who are experts in welfare and cultural fields.
Following the appointment ceremony, the first deliberation meeting approved the 2023 Hometown Love Fund operation and usage plan as originally proposed.
Discussions also continued on discovering unique fund projects specific to Jangseong-gun.
The county plans to proceed with the fund establishment procedures, including submitting the fund operation plan to the Jangseong County Council in the future.
Deputy Governor Kim Myungshin said, “We will make every effort to ensure the smooth promotion of the Hometown Love Donation System,” and added, “We ask for your generous advice and interest.”
Meanwhile, the Hometown Love Donation System is a program where individuals can donate up to 5 million KRW annually to local governments other than their registered residence and receive return gifts and tax deduction benefits.
Recently, the county created a shortcut to the Hometown Love Donation System on the initial screen of the official county website to make it easy for anyone to participate.
