Alain Jaume is a family-run winery established in 1979. With a firm philosophy that great wines can only be made from healthy grapes capable of expressing unique characteristics and complex flavors, they cultivate grapes using organic farming methods to produce their wines. Grapes grown organically are harvested at the optimal time by variety and plot, and fermentation periods are managed differently to preserve individual characteristics and create distinct, unique tastes. Alain Jaume’s wines are characterized by their vigor and well-balanced nature. The products being launched this time include 10 types such as ‘Vieilles Vignes’ and ‘Les Origines.’
Domaine Grand Bernier Ch?teauneuf-du-Pape ‘Vieilles Vignes’ is Alain Jaume’s flagship wine, made from grapes grown in the oldest vineyard of the Jaume family. Thanks to many years and organic farming, the roots of the vines have grown very deep, and the grapes are harvested from vines up to 100 years old, resulting in very limited production. This wine shows excellent balance and best expresses its flavors. It can be aged for over 30 years, with its flavors maximized through long-term aging. Due to its outstanding quality, it has received scores of 95 points or higher from most wine rating institutions, including Wine Enthusiast.
Domaine Grand Bernier Ch?teauneuf-du-Pape ‘Les Origines’ is made from grapes grown in soil mixed with red clay and round pebbles, which provide optimal conditions for producing powerful red wines. Various flavors blend well, and the weight felt in the mouth and lively acidity are balanced, allowing for long-term aging of over 20 years.
The 10 types of Alain Jaume wines will be sold through Hyundai Department Store (Mokdong, Cheonho, Pangyo, Sinchon, Songdo branches) and Shinsegae Department Store’s main branch, among others.
