Sea Dream Career Experience Event Held
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Se-ryeong] The 263rd Naval Surveillance and Reconnaissance Unit under the Navy Jinhae Base Command held a career experience event on the 15th and invited students from an orphanage.
According to Jinkisa, about 60 students from the Gayakdo Soyang Rainbow Orphanage attended the 'Sea Dream' event aimed at nurturing dreams about the Navy.

View original imageThe children toured the unit and lighthouse, listened to explanations about the missions and roles of the 263rd Surveillance and Reconnaissance Unit, and tried on Navy uniforms including dress uniforms, duty uniforms, and shipboard uniforms.
At the recruitment briefing hosted by Navy recruiters from Busan and Jinhae, they received detailed information about the roles and necessity of Navy officers and non-commissioned officers, main duties, selection procedures, and Navy service, and also watched a Navy policy promotional video.
They also played jokgu games with the soldiers of the Surveillance and Reconnaissance Unit.

Captain Lee Kyung-woo, commander of the 263rd Surveillance and Reconnaissance Unit, said, “I am glad to be able to give the children from the orphanage happy memories,” and added, “We will continue to prepare various experience events at the unit level to promote coexistence with local residents and activate Navy recruitment.”
