Jeongeup-si to Open Public Recruitment for 'Committee Talent Pool' Until the 31st of Next Month
[Jeongeup=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Jeonbuk Jeongeup City announced on the 15th that it will publicly recruit a ‘Committee Talent Pool’ targeting women and youth to gather opinions from experts and citizens in various fields.
The Committee Talent Pool is a talent bank system that supplements the limitations of discovering appointed committee members led by the city so far, securing personnel in advance through the voluntary participation of capable women and youth from diverse fields.

The city decided to introduce the Committee Talent Pool as an official channel to solve these problems and secure experts and new members from various fields.
Through this, the city plans to increase the participation rate of women committee members, which is currently only 30%, to 40% by 2025, and raise the participation rate of youth committee members from the current 5% to 10%.
The secured personnel will be assigned in a way that when each department within the city hall requests data for committee appointments, qualified candidates will be selected through qualification verification and recommended to the respective departments.
The recruitment fields include economy and business, education, culture and tourism, sports, transportation, labor, construction, environment, agriculture and livestock, science and technology, information and communication, and social welfare.
Applications can be submitted by visiting the General Affairs Division of City Hall with the participation application form and consent form for personal information use by the 31st of next month, or by applying via email or fax.
For more details, please refer to the Citizen’s Plaza on the city hall website.
Mayor Lee Hak-su said, “Through this public recruitment, we will expand the pool of committee human resources and provide opportunities for various generations to participate in committees, thereby realizing trusted communication administration,” and added, “We ask for the interest and participation of Jeongeup citizens.”
