Lotte Mart announced on the 15th that its discount event selling first-grade Hanwoo beef at the same price for a month is receiving positive responses from consumers.
According to Lotte Mart, sales of first-grade Hanwoo beef for soup and bulgogi from the 2nd to the 13th of this month increased by 170% compared to the previous year. The current product prices are about 30% cheaper than the average consumer prices posted on the Livestock Products Quality Evaluation Service website.
Next month, Lotte Mart plans to offer 'Superior-grade Norwegian fresh salmon' at the same affordable price. The seafood team secured a stable supply chain through prior planning to prepare ample quantities at reasonable prices.
