On the 14th, Seoul Hyehwa Police Station announced that they had urgently detained Mr. A (60) on the 12th on charges of assault leading to death.
Mr. A is suspected of beating Mr. B, a man in his 60s who was an acquaintance, on a street in Jongno-gu, Seoul, around 4 p.m. on the 12th, resulting in Mr. B's death. It is known that Mr. A and Mr. B were arguing before the incident. Mr. B was immediately transported to the hospital but died an hour later.
